made from thick cotton canvas in a lovely reddish-brown 'cachou' colour

with multiple front pleats which are stitched down to just above the hip

does not appear much worn but with some minor flaws - a small patch of wear on the right lapel edge by the collar seam - 2 small holes on the lower left waistcoat front - a small hole on the left outside leg

& another on the right armhole edge (arrowed) - slight fade around the neck back & some spots & watermarks on the back - multiple stains

Vintage 1950s trousers made by 'Osbornes' from a medium-weight wool Donegal tweed fabric in mixed green & brown shades with predominately burnt orange flecks resulting in an overall olivey colour

The bodice has horizontal ribbing, a rounded collar, long sleeves with padded, puffed heads & a small chest pocket; the skirt is A line with chevron ribbing. There is a diagonal opening on the left front shoulder & also a side opening, both with original gold tone pressed
