Fiber Art Sculpture- Converge table My process begins with shapingConverge is a minimalist fiber wall sculpture that transforms traditional maritime knotting into a contemporary form. Cotton 32 x 7 x 3 in 2023 Inspired by traditional nautical knots, this piece reinterprets the figure 8 knot as a sculptural composition. I braid soft cotton using the macram crown knot technique and then shape the resulting rope into the figure eight form, creating a tactile rhythm that bridges tradition and contemporary fiber art. In
