1870 LUKE TYERMAN. 2.25pp ALS on Pamphlets Related to John Wesley and Methodism. Congregational it also bears his HWonderful little piece of Methodist ephemera; Luke Tyerman was of course the most prominent biographer of Wesley during the 19th century. His three volume work was thorough, appropriately critical, and contained a solid bibliographical apparatus. It is still valued today.
