Bound in at the front of the book is a hand-written family tree showing the descent of Thomas Henry Barnard (Sibyl's brother) and his wife Bertha Mary Lampton from the subject of the book

A flyleaf notes the following: "This book was made by Phyllis [indecipherable] Clay (later Kennedy) whilst an art student 1916 approx for John Tremlett"
