Vintage Mens 1940s 1950s "Braintry" Cotton Shirt Pale Ivory Spearpoint Collar British 15" Playsuit wear/fraying to the hanging loopA vintage 1940s 1950s 'Braintry' shirt made by 'Luvisca Ltd.' from fine cotton poplin fabric in a pale ivory colour. Unusually for a British shirt of this period it is full front opening or coat style with lower overlap, has an attached soft 'spearpoint' collar with underside stay slots, long tails with reinforcing gussets, & long sleeves pleated into single, buttoned cuffs; the buttons are pearlescent early plastic.
