Vintage 1940s Ginger Brown Tweed Tam O'Shanter Tammy Beret Balloon Sleeve especially on the edges &A vintage 1940s tam o'shanter or beret, made from fairly heavyweight tweed fabric which has the look & feel of Harris Tweed in a marled gingery brown colour. It has a stiffened circular crown with 2 piece side wall, 1 piece headband decorated with a suede 'bow', internal petersham sweatband with bones to keep it upright, & the crown is lined with pinky copper rayon.
