Five lobed, grey green leaves with cream pink margins, turn crimson gold in autumn. Corymbs of inconspicuous pinkish red pendent flowers bloom in April and May, and are followed by winged fruit. It grows well in moist, well drained, slightly acidic soil. It prefers partial shade, but tolerates full sun very
