This is a beautiful WWII USN M422 flight jacket that was issued towards the end of WWII in 1943 and is the precursor to what eventually became the G 1 flight jacket post WWII. This jacket is named to Knepton, Jr. in the inside pocket, but has no other identification. The leather on the jacket is very supple and the wool muton collar is in excellent shape. The jacket's lining is clean and
