I wouldn't be surprised to see this close down with 3-4 years of bottle age only to re-emerge after a decade

but it has plenty of well-integrated tannins still on the finish and tucking it away in the cellar for four or five years will result in a more velvety and complex wine

2021 Montenidoli Il Templare Toscana IGT Corvina Nothing fancy hereOnly 250 cases were produced of Montenidoli's gorgeous oak aged Il Templare. Comprised of 80% Vernaccia, 15% Trebbiano, and 5% Malvasia Bianca, all organically farmed, the wine is aged for 12 months in used French barriques, then spends another 12 months in glass lined cement tanks, before bottling. It is a remarkably rich wine, and can be paired with a variety of foods, including mushrooms, pastas with truffles, and rich cheeses.
